Purchased Cornish & Steak & Stilton in past and loved them, however I found the meat in the lamb & mint to be cloying, rather than minced it was clumped together and not a great experience as mint was only slightly apparent

I had visited St Ives in Cornwall and fell in love with thier local pastries and raved it about it to family in London. Then I found this company Lavender Cornish Pastries online and they deliver to London! What a result. Ordered x10 lamb mint pastries pre cooked. Delivered after 3 days ordering it, they were packed beatuifully in secure frezzer box and they were MASSIVE! one pastry is litterly one meal per person. Instructions in the box. Just wish I knew how long you were suppose to defrost them before cooking. Filling was delicious, veg and lamb with a hint of mint flavour. My elderly mother loved it. Pastry was soft, my only constructive feedback would be the crust was too thick and needed a bit more lamb inside. Responding to emails was zero unfortuntely, Apart from that certainly would order from them again. Thank you, keep delivering to london! :-)

I have been buying Lavenders individually wrapped pre baked pasties regularly now for a couple of years. I change the choice of flavouring every month for variety. They all taste fantastic and are a perfect ready meal for me to come home to, after a 6 mile run on a Wednesday evening. When would you eat them?

First time I've ordered lamb but they didn't disappoint. These bought for freezer as I have a big trauma operation on my right hand & arm & I'll not be able to use said hand & arm for around 3 months so food a problem but pasties make it so much easier as I can take one from freezer easily with left hand & heat up in air cooker so a good filling, tasty & nourishing meal. ordered the traditional beef as well & thinking of the other choices to vary the meals. growing up in Cornwall there's nothing better than a 'proper' pasty & I'll be looking at other choices after my operation this weekend, to give me variety & there's little I can do regarding food with just one hand, so pasties are brilliant for this & tasty & filling, just as they are at any time, but think the family will be looking for me to share so another order will have to come soon.

The pasties came ready baked: some traditional Cornish pasties, some lamb & mint. Both fillings were delicious; the pastry was crisp and tasty. Both my husband & myself love them. We tend to have them for a quick lunch but they are great as a hot main meal. I will be buying some more… maybe other fillings as well.
